It was originally the residence for Lord Dufferin, Viceroy of India, known as the Viceregal Lodge.  It was designed in Jacobethan style by Henry Irwin, a British architect. Scandal Point: Located on the western edge of Shimla, Scandal Point is one of the most visited tourist destinations.
